Your Q2 content calendar is almost done

Hi Reader,

I don’t talk about this part very often but when I first started my podcast, I wasn’t afraid it would fail.

I was afraid it would work.

Because if it worked, if people actually listened, responded, saw me as an expert, then I’d have to fully step into that version of myself.

And that felt… uncomfortable.

So instead, I played it safe.

I recorded episodes.
I optimized the SEO in the show notes (because let’s be honest, that’s my comfort zone).
I let Pinterest quietly do its thing.

And it did work because traffic came in.

But I wasn’t promoting my episodes consistently. I was overthinking every word. I was holding back from fully sharing it with the communities I was already part of.

Because there was still that quiet thought in the back of my mind:
“What if no one actually wants to hear this?”

What shifted

It wasn’t one big moment.

It was a series of small ones.

Conversations after workshops.
Messages from listeners.
People reflecting my own words back to me and telling me it helped them see their business differently.

That’s when it clicked: It wasn’t about being “ready.”
It was about recognizing that what I was already sharing… was landing.

And once I stopped questioning that, everything changed.

My podcast started opening doors:
→ Speaking opportunities
→ Collaborations
→ More visibility (without adding more noise)

Not because it was perfect but because it was consistent and connected to what I already knew.

What I want you to hear from this

Your podcast doesn’t have to be perfect.

It doesn’t need a fancy setup, a perfectly mapped content plan, or a massive audience to “count.”

It can simply be:

A conversation you’ve already had
A blog post you’ve already written
An idea you’ve been sitting on

That then fuels everything else in your business.

Your visibility.
Your authority.
Your offers.

If this has been sitting on your “I should probably…” list

This is your invitation to stop overthinking it. I’m speaking at the Moms Behind the Mic Summit (March 23–27), a free virtual event designed to help you start, grow, and actually use your podcast in your business.

Inside, I’m sharing how one piece of content can turn into months of visibility (without posting every day). And more importantly, how to make your podcast work for you, not just exist.

It needs more trust.

P.S. Real life moment… I was recording a podcast yesterday and the power went out mid-episode because of a storm. Has that ever happened to you while recording something important? Hit reply and tell me because hopefully I can’t be the only one.

JUST FOR YOU:

A Small Thing That’s Made My Days Feel Better

Lately, I’ve been trying to create a little more quiet in my day.

Not a full morning routine. Not anything complicated. Just something simple that helps me slow down before everything starts moving.

For me, now that the weather is warming up, it’s been stepping outside with my breakfast for a few minutes in the morning. No phone. No podcast. No planning.

Just… quiet.

It sounds small, but it’s made a big difference in how I move through the rest of the day.

Especially in a season where there’s a lot happening (life, business, kids, all of it), having even a few minutes that feel calm and uninterrupted has been grounding.

If your days have been feeling a little loud lately, this is your reminder that it doesn’t have to be a full reset.

Sometimes it’s just one small moment.

On The Podcast Lately…
