I didn’t think I was “a speaker” either

Hi Reader,

The Wedding Business CEO Summit kicked off yesterday… and I already have chills.

Not because I love public speaking.
(I don’t.)

Not because I thrive in the spotlight.
(I really don’t.)

But because I finally stopped shrinking in rooms, I’ve worked hard to earn my way into.

If you’ve followed me for a while, or know me personally, you know confidence is not my default setting. Raising my voice, speaking up, stepping onto a virtual stage? That has always felt uncomfortable.

But here’s what changed.

Pinterest.

Not the platform itself. The work behind it.

The keyword testing. The design experiments. The analytics. The buying behavior patterns of real couples planning real weddings.

I didn’t grow confident because I became louder. I grew confident because I did the work and saw that it works.

And yesterday, that confidence showed up in a way that felt different.

Within hours of my presentation going live inside the summit, I received this message:

“One of my goals is to get on Pinterest and become consistent over there. This presentation helped me navigate my mindset about Pinterest and I was able to implement the 3 steps immediately!!
Thank you for a simple but straight to the point strategy/framework!”

That right there.

Not hype. Not viral. Not noise.

Clarity.

And that’s what evergreen visibility actually does.

It turns scattered marketing into a system. It turns content you ready have into discovery tools. It turns viewers into inquiries. It turns pins into proposals.

Why this matters right now

January is when couples are planning quietly.
Saving ideas.
Creating boards.
Shortlisting vendors.

If you want to be part of their decision-making process, you have to show up before they hit your contact form.

That’s exactly what I teach inside my summit session.

And there is still time to watch it — the Wedding Business CEO Summit is completely free.

Even if you can’t catch everything live, you can still access the sessions and start implementing this week.

I’m stepping into rooms I never thought I would. Not because I suddenly became fearless. But because I know the strategy works.

And I want that kind of grounded confidence for you, too.

Cheering you on,

Dana

P.S. My entire presentation is built around the foundation of the VEIL Strategy Audit.

Because inspiration is great. But implementation is better.

The VEIL Audit maps:

• What content you already have that can drive traffic
• What couples are actually searching for
• Where your visibility is scattered
• How to build an ecosystem that compounds

No more guessing. No more “should I be on TikTok too?” No more burnout marketing.

Just a plan that fits your business and fuels it.

You don’t need to create more. You need to make what you’ve already created last longer.

Pinterest Manager vs. Marketing Agency for Wedding Pros

If you’ve ever wondered whether you need a full marketing agency… or something more focused, this one’s for you.

In this week’s blog, I break down the real difference between hiring a Pinterest Manager versus signing with a traditional marketing agency, especially for wedding pros who want evergreen visibility, not just more posts.

Because sometimes the right question isn’t “How do I market more?”

It’s “What kind of support actually aligns with how I want to grow?”

If you're weighing your next move, this will bring clarity.

JUST FOR YOU:

Local Love Introduction

I love spotlighting women in my network who are building creative, intentional businesses and this week, I want to introduce you to Fundae.

Fundae creates dessert-inspired heels that are playful, bold, and unapologetically creative. Think sprinkles, swirls, and statement pieces that feel like walking art.

But here’s why I love them for you.

As wedding professionals, we spend our lives designing experiences that feel elevated, emotional, and unforgettable. Fundae does the same thing… just with footwear. They’re proof that branding can be distinctive, story-driven, and fully committed to a point of view.

If you’re a photographer, planner, florist, or designer who believes details matter, you’ll appreciate what they’ve built.

And if you connect with them, tell them Dana sent you 💛
